Welcome to Poppy and Fig Studios! I’m Kristin, the creative mind behind this studio where every project tells a unique story.

My passion for design started at home, inspired by my mom’s natural talent for creating beautiful, functional spaces. Watching her thoughtfully transform our house sparked in me a deep appreciation for how design shapes the way we live. That inspiration led me to study Creative Arts in Sydney, Australia. After years of teaching music and working as a bandleader and professional musician, I stepped away during early motherhood and later studied Interior Decorating in Canada. After graduating in 2026, I founded Poppy & Fig Studios to combine my passion for thoughtful design, organization, and storytelling through photography. I believe beautiful spaces should also be functional, personal, and reflective of the people who live and work in them.

At Poppy and Fig Studios, I believe design should reflect the people who live in it. Whether through interior design, home organization, or photography, I take pride in creating personalized, timeless spaces that feel uniquely yours.
