I’m Kristin — a designer, stylist, and photographer with a love for thoughtful spaces, beautiful imagery, and the stories that connect the two.

My love of design started at home. My mom had a natural talent for creating spaces that were both beautiful and functional, and watching her transform our home sparked an early appreciation for the way our surroundings shape how we live.

That creative curiosity eventually took me to Sydney, Australia, where I studied Creative Arts. I spent years teaching music and working as a bandleader and professional musician before stepping away during early motherhood. When I returned to the creative world, I found myself drawn back to design and photography, eventually studying Interior Decorating in Canada and graduating in 2026.

Poppy & Fig grew from that winding creative path — a place where I can bring together my love of interiors, styling, photography, and visual storytelling.

I’m drawn to spaces with personality, images that feel natural and considered, and the little details that make something feel special. Whether I’m styling an interior, photographing a family or personal brand, or creating imagery for a creative project, my approach is warm, intentional, and a little editorial.

At the heart of it all, I believe the most beautiful work is the work that feels personal.
